Get Ready for IIT JEE with Success Mantra

The JEE syllabus is vast, making it hard to retain over a long period of time. With numerous formulae, reactions and derivations to remember, it is very difficult to recollect everything at the nick of the moment. Especially the JEE syllabus Math is very in-depth and requires burning of midnight oil.

Hence, in this section we will tell you how to tackle the JEE syllabus.

MATHS: For Mathematics, there is no better way to retain than to practice. Practice all the NCERT numerical first, so that you develop a firm base. After this go for the reference books where a number of sums are given topic wise. This will ensure that you get a fair idea as to how to prepare for and solve each type of question. Finally start attempting the previous year question papers. This should serve as the final knockout and you should be able to solve every question after mastering the whole theory portion.

PHYSICS: For Physics, one needs to focus on the derivations and understand how the concepts can be applied to solve the numerical. Then again practice is required. One can use visual exercises to memorize the concepts. Go through the old question papers to get an idea of the pattern of questions asked in the exam. Do not leave the NCERT questions as they are the basis of all the framed IIT JEE questions

CHEMISTRY: For Chemistry, note down all the important reactions at one place and keep on revising daily. This will ensure that you recall all the reactions on the D-Day. Prepare flow charts and algorithms. Use mnemonics wherever you can.

One must also remember to download the JEE Mains Admit Card properly way before the exam date. This is to get rid of all the last minute traffic hustles. Kindly check if your scanned photograph and signature have a proper resolution on the printed admit card. They should be of proper clarity.

Thus keep in mind all the above points and have an effective preparation period.

Pointers For JEE Syllabus

The main hurdle while preparing for IIT JEE is the huge amount of syllabus. The aspirants are expected to have the mountain pile of syllabus on their fingertips. This is about not just the concepts, but also the numerical related to them. And with the time crunch, many may not be able to complete the whole of the syllabus in a way it is expected by the examiners from the students.

Thus, sometimes this results in skipping the topics which may have a maximum weight age that year or the topics which are scoring maybe left in the rearview. So CLEAR EXAM has decided to list out a few topics from the subject wise syllabus of JEE which are important.

JEE Syllabus Physics:

The JEE syllabus Physics is humongous. Achieving perfection in the last minute revision is not possible unless you have strenuously worked hard for the minimum duration of two years. So as a last minute wake up call, we have listed out some of the topics which contain the maximum weight age in comparison to the rest: Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetostatics and Electromagnetic Induction.

JEE Syllabus Maths:

In the JEE syllabus Maths, Coordinate geometry, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus are the most scoring topics and contain the maximum marks. This has been an observation by us, after seeing the trend in the last five years.

JEE Syllabus Chemistry:

Transition elements and coordination chemistry, Periodic table and representative elements, Thermodynamics and gaseous state are some of the topics which must be at the tip of the tongue by the student. This is the vital portion of the JEE syllabus Chemistry.
